She is driven, organianised teacher who develops inspiring relationship with her student. My daughter with special needs has developed greatly under her capacity as a lead teacher within our local playgroup in Camden.
Roberta has always been so accommodating to my daughter’s sensory issues in how she conducts herself in front of her. We have known Betty for close to 3 years and she has helped us tremendously with the care and education of our son over this period.
Betty has a gift for engaging children and designing purposeful play; our son absolutely enjoys every single minute with her. Betty was also instrumental in bringing out my son’s confidence to interact with other children and adults, through role-play, drama and singing. Her genuine enthusiasm and love for children never fails to light up our hearts and we would unreservedly recommend Betty to any family.
Roberta participated in our son Ibrahim’s Son-Rise program for four years (July 14 to July 18). Son-Rise is a home-based program for children with autism. Roberta spent 1:1 time with Ibrahim in his playroom in which she used different play activities to aid Ibrahim’s social development.
Roberta has demonstrated her willingness and enthusiasm when she interacted with Ibrahim. She also demonstrated her ability to work as a team where we shared ideas and feedback in order to find the best possible play activities to increase Ibrahim’s development. Very positive attitude with lots of energy, excitement and enthusiasm.
Over the years, she took Ibrahim out to parks, shops, trains rides, museums, and coffee shops so that Ibrahim can learn about lifestyle skills.
We were delighted to have Roberta as part of Ibrahim’s Son Rise program, and really appreciated her contribution and commitment.

She has been able to see past surface level behaviour to understand the underlying emotional issues that my daughter faces every day, and as such, has really helped her to start managing her emotions appropriately.
